Soldano “Astroverb” 1-12″ Combo Amp…..Specially made for the “Jimi Hendrix” exhibit, at the EMP Museum, Seattle center, Seattle, Wa…..Mike Soldano made this specifically for the Jimi Hendrix exhibit…I heard 4 of these were made, total…There were some earlier non-reverb “Atomic 16 amps there from Soldano, also…ALL replaced, now…It has WILD c60′s style Psychedelic covering, has a special serial number with an “H” at the end ( for Hendrix )  If you look at the bottom of the amp from the back, you can see two holes where it was mounted at the exhibit, for people to use..( The very last close up photo shows this…it also shows how cool the covering really is )..This got a LOT of playing time in….lol…Mike Soldano finally replaced these amps with different amps, and took these 4 amps back to his shop…completely refurbished them…all new tubes, etc etc, anything they needed was done…and sold them to friends….This came directly from Mike, out of his workshop in Ballard, Wa…..This is a WILD high gain amp….20 watts, with reverb….The extra gain stage of the reverb smooths out the typical harshness of an “Atomic 16″ amp….sounds AMAZING…and absolutely BULLET-PROOF construction & quality…these last forever…The 5 plugs, in the back panel, came that way from Soldano, new…This was never going to be a commercially available amp, and Soldano did some experimenting with these ( I have known Soldano for decades, he is as NICE a person as you will ever find, and BRILLIANT too…)This amp will absolutely become collectable, probably already is, and will go WAY up in value, in the future….A new one discounts to about $1,500.00…..Used they are anywhere from $900.00 to $1,200.00, WHEN they show up…We’ll put this VERY rare version of the Astroverb amp up on auction for $1,200.00
