award-winning innovative design, and flawless construction make it
simply the finest amplifier money can buy. And the SLO’s tone,
construction, and reliability have made it the heart and soul of many of
Rock, Metal, and Electric Blues’ most creative and celebrated players.
It’s because of this that you’ve been hearing the SLO 100 on your
favorite records since 1987. From Clapton to Van Halen, from Warren
DeMartini to Lou Reed – and from you to Mike Soldano himself, the SLO is
simply the player’s choice.
The SLO-100 offers two channels, Normal and Overdrive, each with
independent Preamp gain and Master Volume controls. A footswitch is
also provided for effortless noise-free switching between the two
channels. The Normal channel has a Bright switch and a Clean / Crunch
gain selector switch. Standard features include a tube-buffered effects
loop and a slave output. Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence controls
provide the tone shaping. A rotary Impedance selector switch allows the
use of 4, 8, or 16 ohm speaker cabinets.
As is standard with every Soldano amp, the SLO features a
specially-designed transformer built right here in the USA, and is
assembled using only the finest military grade components.

In 1986 I graduated from Dean College in Franklin, MA. with a major in guitar and a minor in small business management, then my local music store hired me. Yay! I ended up working at that shop for 11 years on and off doing everything from sales, management, accounting, advertising, stockboy, janitor… you name it, I did it.
During the 11 years I spent learning the ropes of music retail, I was also an active performer. In 1987 I was a member of Adam Bomb on Geffen Records and in 1988 I took a year off to attend Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood, CA. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to share stages with Dio, Stryper, Kings X, Yngwie Malmsteen, Ratt, Planet X, Skid Row, Rob Halford, Queensryche and even Iron Maiden, when my band toured as their opening act in 2000.
In 1996 the opportunity to open my own music store presented itself and with the support of vendors and customers alike, I opened Matt’s Music Center on November 6th, 1996. My staff and I have come a long way since ’96 and my little shop, isn’t so little any more. We’ve grown because we offer super competitive prices on great products and we back it all up with service that’s better than our competition. Simple as that!
I still play today, when schedules allow it I record and perform with my band Machines of Grace, featuring some members of The Trans Siberian Orchestra. I also gig almost every weekend with my cover band “Flashmob”, so I’m always trying out new gear in a live atmosphere. My years of performing and studying music have taught me what’s important and I always try to run my business by the golden rule of “treat people how I want to be treated”. Hard to believe but I’ve been working in musical instrument retail for 24 years and I’ve been playing guitar for 32 years. I’m happy to put my experience to work for you!

Other delivery services available are Fedex 3 day, 2 day and Next Day, please contact us via phone or email for pricing on these services. We ship worldwide! Q: Will this item work on 220-240 Volt power?
A: Units with auto-switching power supplies will state “100-240 Volt”. All other items have USA plug configuration power cords included and are intended to operate at 110V. These units can be operated safely with the use of a step down transformer in countries that have voltages higher than 110V. Be warned that if you attempt to power a 110V unit in a country with higher voltage, your purchase will be severely damaged. This is not the responsibility of Matt’s Music Center and it is not covered under any warranty.
Q: What if I want to return for a refund?
A: All returns for refund will incur an 18% restocking fee (including defective items, damaged items, and DOA items). Defective items can be exchanged for a working unit, but any return for refund will incur an 18% restocking fee. Software once opened (factory seal broken) can not be returned for refund.
Q: How do I ship back my Return/Exchange?
A: The customer can choose any transportation method (drop off, UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) to return goods for refund or exchange (including defective items). Matt’s Music Center suggests using a shipping service with tracking capabilities and delivery confirmation. Software once opened (factory seal broken) can not be returned for refund.
Q: I need a replacement ASAP!
A: A replacement for a defective item can be shipped out if a deposit is given. Once the original defective unit is returned to Matt’s Music Center the deposit will be refunded. Replacements are sent out UPS Ground (domestically) and any expedited shipping will be at the customers expense. International customers must pay all shipping to and from.
Q: Is there a warranty on my item?
A: All new and open box items carry a full manufacturers warranty valid in the USA. B-stock and refurbished items may have a shorter warranty period, please see the item description for more details. Warranties are only valid in the United States of America.
Q: What is shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico?
A: Please contact us via phone, email or live chat on our website for exact shipping rates
Q: What if my item is defective?
A: Customers must contact us within 15 days of delivery to request a return or exchange. Customers are responsible for transportation of the item back to Matt’s Music Center (this includes return shipping). For exchanges of product within the United States Matt’s Music Center will pay for shipping of the new item back to the customer.
Q: Can you ship to an alternate address?
A: We can only ship to the address on record in your Paypal account or your credit card issuer..
Q: When will my item ship?
A: Most items ship within 1 business day of payment clearing. Please note some payments may go through PayPal as an echeck and not clear for several business days. Your tracking number will be emailed to your email address registered with eBay.
Q: Shipment Tracking Number?
A: In the evening after close of business your tracking number will be emailed to your email address registered with eBay. Please be sure to check any SPAM filters. The tracking will also be uploaded to eBay and can be found in the Order Details of your purchase in your “My eBay” page.
Q: What is B-Stock / Open Box / Demo?
A: May have cosmetic blemishes or the box has been damaged. The units are fully functional and come with a warranty from the manufacturer. Please feel free to contact us about a certain item, because we can often provide a new unit at a similar price.
Q: Can I get a lower price?
A: If a “Make Offer” appears in the listing under “Buy It Now” please feel free to submit an offer and a sales associate will get back to you with our lowest price.
